Racing Boy was founded sixteen years ago by Mr.Lee Meng Tek. Hailing from Bukit Mertajam, Pulau Pinang, Mr.Lee haboured a dream of owning a business dealing in motorcycle parts and accessories to cater the market of lower capacity machines. The underbone and smaller capacity motocycles, being a mainstay in the Malaysia market, allowed the business to prosper based upon the exposure and capacity of capturing the imagination and ultimately the pockets of the customers. This is the concept which has enabled Racing Boy to be market leader in its segment with limit competitors in town.

Far being a day dream of a humble sixteen year old boy from the backwaters of now prosperous Bukit Mertajam, Racing Boy has progressed beyond the idle day dream , to being a market leader supplier of after market accessories and racing equipment for underbone and smaller capacity machines. By being sensitive to the needs and wants of the customers, Mr.Lee has managed to capture the finer nuances of the highly competitive market and has developed many innovative and superior products to cater for the needs of its customers under the flag of Racing Boy. From the basic ‘make-up’ accessorize and show, all the way up the echelon of the more discerning racing aficionados.

1995 proved to be a disastrous year for Racing Boy on its onset into the Malaysian market as the product that was put forth was below the expectation of the customers. The three spoke rims sourced from Thailand clearly was way below par for the discerning Malaysian market. Things changed in 2002 when Racing Boy decided to go for the more general appeal. Bringing in the 12 coloured alloy rim sets, customers were now able to customize or colour coordinate their machines. Racing Boy hit a home run in this scenario as the rims were made of high quality materials and competitively priced which reached out to the target market.

The launch of the 811, 8 spoked rims series proved to be another turning point for Racing Boy. The stylish sporting looks garnered interest from many professional Racing Teams running in the Malaysian Cub Prix series. With superior and sturdier build quality, materials in tandem with light weight, these rims proved to be winners in the CubPrix Series. Riders were highly satisfied by performance and handling these rims afforded. With these highly acclaimed victories, Racing Boy is propelled yet again as a Market Leader in the motorcycle accessories segment.

Being a Market Leader in the alloy motorcycle rims alone is not the objective of Racing Boy. With highly experienced team backing the company, Racing Boy has researched and launched many motorcycle accessory products that have gained many accolades from the customers.
